Performance Rights Terms

The following terms apply to the licensing and performance of all scripts sold by Fairy Tales on Stage.

1. Performance License Requirement

A valid Performance Rights License must be purchased for each individual performance of any Fairy Tales on Stage script. This applies whether or not admission is charged and regardless of the performance’s location or audience size.

2. License Scope

The Performance Rights License grants the purchaser the legal right to publicly perform the selected adapted fairy tale script one time for a live audience.

A separate license is required for each additional performance.

Scripts are sold separately from licenses.

3. Script Requirements

One physical script must be purchased for each performer in the production. Photocopying, scanning, or otherwise reproducing scripts is strictly prohibited.

4. Recording and Broadcast

This license does not include the right to record, stream, or otherwise broadcast the performance in any format, public or private, unless written permission is obtained from Fairy Tales on Stage in advance.

5. License Fees

Performance Rights License fees are non-refundable. Fees help support the continued creation and publication of quality theatrical material designed for children and community performance groups.

6. Violation of Terms

Failure to obtain appropriate performance licenses or to comply with these terms may result in legal action.
